About Me

I worked as a senior human resources leader (and still do!) but realised that what I did best wasn’t about business-as-usual, day-to-day HR that kept businesses ‘ticking over’.

What I was most effective at doing was coaching founders and business leaders on how to better build high performing teams while also delivering impactful programmes of work that helped leaders turn their strategic aims into reality, with and through their people.

I’ve run a private practice in parallel with my employment contracts for the last ten years while I developed the offer I bring to you today.

I first developed a love for psychology in my undergraduate degree and since then I have secured a masters in Human Resources Management and went on to train and become certified in many disciplines including workplace conflict resolution, psychometric testing, psychometric ability profiling and coaching. What makes me different as an HR consultant and leadership coach is that my practice is deeply rooted in modern social science and I draw on a range of other esteemed disciplines believing that - if you look hard enough - there’s a leadership lesson to be learned from anywhere!

In my career I have carefully curated a completely sector-agnositc portfolio of experience, working across industries such as arts, culture, media, heritage, place-making, real estate and hospitality, manufacturing, education and tech. Preferring to work with SMEs, start-ups and scale-ups, I’ve been pleased to work with major players within their industries - many of them award winners.

I love to share my thinking on the world of work and experience with audiences all over the world at conferences and other speaking events, sometimes with hundreds of attendees. I also blog regularly on Linkedin and have been a guest writer for many third parties.
